The Active 20-30 Club of Eugene asks for your support to help outfit local children in need with necessary back-to-school clothing and supplies.
With your support, Active 20-30 of Eugene will provide local children in need with $100 of back-to-school clothes and supplies. Each child will be accompanied by an Active 20-30 volunteer for a fun-filled morning of back-to-school shopping. Active 20-30 volunteers do everything to make this an exceptionally exciting and rewarding day for everyone involved.
The 2011 Children's Shopping Spree is sponsored by donors and participants of the Active 20-30 Putt Putt Tourney which was held on July 21st. The Springfield Target will host the event at its store in August and will provide a backpack for each participating child. Over 25 children from two local non-profit agencies, the HIV Alliance and Candlelighters, will benefit from the event. Salon Delange has graciously donated four haircuts to help prepare these children for the upcoming school year.
