Datalogic Scanning, Inc. and the Eugene Active 20-30 Club invite local non-profits benefitting children to raise money by enrolling runners and walkers in the 3rd annual Datalogic 5K Children’s Charity Challenge.

In these economic times, many organizations and schools are finding their budgets being cut and are needing more funds than ever before to continue offering much needed services. Many of the smaller organizations do not have the time or the funds needed to host a run specifically for their own charity.  This is where we can help.  We will host a race that will give each participating charity “team” the opportunity to raise funds without having to incur any of the expense of the race.

Each runner enrolled will earn $10 for the charity of their choice.  The charity with the most runners enrolled will earn an additional $400 with the 2nd place charity receiving an additional $100.  There will also be prize money for the top three male and female finishers and anyone who breaks the course records.

The race will be held at Datalogic Scanning, Inc. in West Eugene located at 959 Terry Street.
