Who We Help

Youth, To Be Served, Must Serve

The Eugene Based Active 20-30 Club was founded in 1927, focused on serviceable citizenship in the community of Oregon's Lane County, while improving the quality of life for special needs children. Besides the monetary contributions, Club members donated hundreds of hours of volunteer community services each year to repair and upgrade playground structures, clean and paint facilities, accompany children on trips, and any number of other activities.

In addition to assisting organized children charities, the Club also makes effort to help the individual children of the community. The Club has helped buy special computer equipment, thereby providing communication opportunities not otherwise available to a child. It has provided funding for orthodontia work, youth sport team travel, high school, competition team travel, and much more. The Club also makes a special effort to aid in-need families at the Holiday Season. Our Christmas Wish project helps bring a little cheer to children and families by making their Santa list a reality.

With a helping hand, the Club's assistance is far more than just throwing money at a problem.

While it is not intended to be exclusive, the following is list of some of those organizations helped by the Club during the last few years:
