Coats for Kids program

The Eugene Active 20-30 Club’s 17h annual Coats for Kids project will be held September 8 - October 17.  Coats for Kids is a community wide coat drive to help keep kids in Lane County keep warm during the winter months.

Coats will be cleaned, free of charge, at participating cleaners and distributed to service agencies in Lane County, including SCAR/Jasper Mountain, Birth to Three, Parent Partnership, and Relief Nursery.

The Active 20-30 Club began Coats for Kids in 1990, receiving and filling 150 requests for coats.  Since then, the project has steadily grown to a major community event.  Last year, the 20-30 Club received and filled orders for over 1500 coats.
